Runner Tactics is a game for two players that combines elements of tactics games like Final Fantasy Tactics and field goal games like American Football or Rugby.
A player wins either by crossing into the opponent’s end zone, or by attacking and removing all of the opponent’s pieces.
There are 10 unique pieces. Large command tiles are used to assign movement and attacks in secret from the other player, while the small game tiles will execute those moves on the game board. Each player places a blue cube for movement and a red cube for attack on each command tile. After both players are ready, the vision guards are removed, and the moves are executed simultaneously.
