In Mission Amazonia a strategic deckbuilding board game you are part of a Brazilian team of rainforest protectors. From your headquarters (e.g. Pôrto Velho) you go on different missions north and south of the Amazon to curb the illegal exploitation of the rainforest. The poaching of exotic animal species, the prohibited logging of tropical timber or the poisoning of rivers through illegal gold mining are your daily challenges. Now the race against time begins, and the question is whether you can collaborate effectively as a team and use your resources (such as vehicles, night vision devices, satellite images, GPS, etc.) and skills wisely to slow down or even stop the extinction of species and the ongoing deforestation.
Explore the Amazon rainforest on realistic maps (covering the states of Rondônia, Pará and Amazonas) in 10 chapters where you can experience the deforestation in 5-year steps (starting from the late 1980s).
Use your equipment (vehicles, satellite images etc.) wisely and purchase new tools (drone, night vision device, GPS, etc.) at the right time.
The maps and new rules for every chapter are summarized in the 24-page chapter book. That allows players to jump in or out with ease.
Get more experience as a team over a 10+ hour campaign.
