Originally from Wales in the UK and now settled in Connecticut, I’m a proud father of two, balancing family life with a passion for creativity, strategy, and a healthy dose of fun. My journey into tabletop wargaming began as a teenager—it was more than a hobby; it was a supportive community and a creative escape that kept me grounded. Like many, I drifted away from it through high school and early adulthood, but after more than 20 years, I’ve returned to the world of Warhammer—this time, with my son by my side.

While much of my hobby time is spent painting miniatures (often late into the night), I also love getting hands-on with the games themselves, diving into the strategic side of competitive play. I’m drawn to armies that are simple to pick up and play—ones that lean into straightforward mechanics and fun interactions, rather than overly intricate combos or rule layering. For me, it’s all about the joy of play, not just the win.

When I’m not building armies or brushing on highlights, you’ll likely find me with my family or planning our next getaway. I work in analytics for an online travel company, a role that sharpens the same numerical thinking I bring to the dice rolls and probabilities of tabletop gaming. It’s also given me the amazing opportunity to travel the world and indulge in new cultures and cuisines—though as a lifelong Disney fan, Orlando is still a frequent stop for us.

I immigrated to the U.S. in my twenties to marry the woman of my dreams—my biggest supporter—and together we've built a life full of adventure, laughter, and late-night board games. Outside of wargaming, I enjoy staying active with pickleball, hitting the gym, and gaming with my kids whenever we can.

Strategy games, staying active, travel, great food, and family—these are the cornerstones of my world. I’m excited to share my passion for tabletop games with you and connect with others who love this amazing hobby.
